The Potter’s House Ministries, Inc. is a faith-based non-profit ministry, a compassionate ministry center of our church with our own 501(c)3 charity status. We are held accountable to the Sciotoville Church of the Nazarene and our own elected Board of Directors. We offer several volunteer ministries to help meet the real needs of folks in our community. Our Vision: To see God's Church and the community work together in unity to help meet urgent needs. Our Mission: To coordinate and develop the resources from churches and the community, in an effort to assist with urgent needs.     Our food pantry is available to families in need to use once each month. It is located at 5409 Winchester (along with the church offices). PANTRY HOURS EACH MONTH:  Tuesdays 9am--2pm Thursdays 9am—6pm      If you are in need, please call us or stop by and see if there’s anything we can do to help you & your family through a difficult time.      We partner with several organizations and programs to bring help meet needs of our community. For instance, we provide free tax preparation and filing services for families. We also partner with organizations to bring our community services from VITA, VISTA, Freestore Foodbank, HEAP, FAFSA, Medicaid, SNAP, Smart Choice Food Source and SEVERAL OTHERS. A FEW STATISTICS FROM THE PAST YEAR  FOOD PANTRY CLIENTS SERVED: 39,000+ INDIVIDUALS POUNDS OF FOOD DISTRIBUTED: 4,000,000+ POUNDS (2,000+ TONS) TAX CLIENTS SERVED FOR FREE: 1,500 RETURNS FILED REFUNDS/CREDITS KEPT IN OUR COMMUNITY (NOT INCLUDING UNSPENT FEES): $2,300,000.00 SUMMER MEALS DISTRIBUTED TO KIDS: 52,440 TOTAL INDIVIDUALS SERVED: MORE THAN WE CAN COUNT TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!
