Our Scriptural Verse for the Month
  II Corinthians 4:16
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day."  NIV

Our Vision:
To see God's Church and the community work together in unity, to aid urgent needs.

Our Mission:
To act as a ministry, coordinating and developing the resources from churches and the community, in an effort to assist with urgent needs.

We are a faith-based non-profit organization with 501C3 status dedicated to "Re-shaping lives in Jesus' Name."  We are also a Nazarene Compassionate Ministry Center.  All workers are volunteers who are dedicated to helping individuals and families improve their quality of life.  Our number one goal is to see people brought to a loving relationship with Jesus Christ.  We want to show people that Jesus Christ (The Potter) can shape their lives into something wonderful if they will let him!

Jeremiah 18:2-3 "Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.  Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels."

"Angel Food, Foster, Adoption/Kinship Care Office"

Office Hours:
Monday-Friday 9:00am-4:30pm

This is a program we have started to answer the call for our children.

Throughout scripture it is clear that as the body of Christ, we are called to take care of the children in need.  There are over 500,000 children in the U.S. foster care system. Over 120,000 are looking for "forever" homes. Our mission is to work with the faith community and neighborhoods to actively recruit and spread awareness and acceptance of the foster, adoption, and kinship care systems, while providing families and children with the resources they need to make healthy and happy families.  We will be serving families within Scioto and Lawrence counties in Ohio.  Each of our programs will be free for those who are in need of them.  We are already helping six couples to give loving homes to children in need of adoption.  We hope to make a difference in the lives of those around us!

Here are some of the ministries we have begun:

  • Equipment/Co-op/Resource Closet - families can obtain needed physical items, such as clothes, baby furniture, toys, formula, diapers, bottles, etc.
  • Information/Resource Center - Books, Videos, educational material for individuals to learn more about foster care/adoption
  • *Luggage of Love Campaign - Luggage filled with coloring book, note pad, envelope, Bible, crayons, stuffed animal, lap throw or toddler blanket, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.
  • *School Supplies - Pens, pencils, notebooks, markers, colored pencils, rulers, scissors, etc.
  • Prayer Care - parents who care for medically or emotionally traumatized children can call us to be linked to a prayer team. We remove confidential information before forwarding your request
  • Food/Sundry Pantry
  • Hope Tree - Providing Christmas gifts to area foster children
!! This last year we gave gifts to 94 children!!
  • Community Events/Festivals
  • Mentor Families - Are you a new foster family? Call us and we will provide you with an experienced family for support and understanding

*for new children in care
